Maronda Homes is the worst company you could ever work with. They are dishonest and only want to take your money. Homes are built poorly to extremely subpar standards, yet they will make every attempt to get you to sign a contract. After signing, they become incredibly unresponsive to any questions that you have. They require large deposits upfront and make it clear that your chances of getting any type of refund are slim to none.
Due to health issues, we had to cancel our full contract with them, but they refused to return our deposit. It is worth mentioning they had not even begun clearing the lot, so they suffered no loss at all. All they did was pressure us into signing, and once they successfully obtained our deposit, they went silent until it was time to ask for more money.
They advertise that homes are completed within a year, but the truth of the matter is it takes an upwards of two. It is clear Maronda is all about money instead of value. Do not be suckered into their schemes, you will not be happy.
