1st Franklin Financial Corporation did me bad
I will give zero stars to this company. The due date for my loan was 1/12/24. I mailed a payment to 1st Franklin Financial on 2/4/24 and my check was returned to me on 2/26/24 with a sticky note that said account filed in small claims. When I called them regarding this, the creditor told me that my account was 45 days late because a payment wasn’t received. I informed her that I mailed the payment before time for it not to be late and she told me that their PO Box had been temporarily closed and that her manager had made a note of receiving the check, but mailed it back to me and filed my account in small claims. Is this even legal?
