Transamerica Life Insurance Company took my money!
On November 1, 2022 I made their annual payment for life insurance, which was $397. Not long afterward the company sent me yet another notice requiring the same payment. Countless phone calls were made between the company and my bank, but nothing worked until there was an investigation looking into the original transaction. To ensure I would not lose my life insurance policy, I paid a second $397 payment on 12/5/2022. Although I sent in a ton of proof and evidence showing I already made the payment, the company continuously asked for proof of the first payment. I have yet to be reimbursed the overpayment of $397.
