RK Autowerks, LLC refused to repay my funds
I’m writing to protest officially about RK Autowerks for failing to pay the $6500 sum that was due in exchange for the return of car parts, including two turbos and the engine core from a 2017 BMW M6.
On December 12, 2022, I paid $32,073 for a BMW M6 Motor, also known as a Forged S63tu, from R K Autowerks, which was then delivered to Four Arrows for installation. R K Autowerks was required to purchase shipping and insurance both ways as per the agreement; in this instance, Global Logistics was chosen. After being finished, the original engine core and two turbos were properly packaged and sent to R K Autowerks. RK Autowerks policy is that $2500 for the turbos and up to $4000 for the transmissions will be returned.
One: Shipping and insurance costs were the responsibility of RK Autowerks. Two: Four Arrows shipped the turbos and core in a secure container. Three: As shown by their desire that I submit an insurance claim, RK Autowerks was aware that the turbo should have been in the container. Four: According to RK Autowerks’ documentation, the container came damaged. Five: After receiving the damaged delivery, it was RK Autowerks’ duty to contact Echo Global Logistics as soon as possible and register a claim. Sixth: RK Autowerks is in charge of swiftly refunding the $6500 as per the arrangement.
I made every effort to get in touch with the owner, Razza Kalid, directly by certified mail with limited delivery. Mike Dominski from [email protected] replied to my message. The identical denial of responsibility was given as before in response.
According to RK Autowerks, the engine and turbos were missing when the box carrying them arrived on May 15, 23, and it was also damaged and upside down. R K Autowerks asserts to have sent me an email asking me to submit a claim. According to forensic analysis of my email dating back to 2015, I did not receive that email.
RK Autowerks claims it was my duty to submit the claim, and since I didn’t reply to the email, it was already too late. This is untrue; RK Autowerks and Echo Global Logistics are the parties to the contract, and it was their duty to file. Additionally, RK Autowerks did not present any proof of their inability to file due to the passage of time.
