Rent-A-Wreck – SeaTac Washington is a fraud and looted me of $750
I rented a vehicle from Rent-A-Wreck during May of 2022, and when I returned it, the card had suffered no damages. However, a few days later I received an email from them requesting that I ‘complete an incident report.’ The email baffled me as I had not had any incidents where I believed an incident report would be required. So, I responded to their email letting them know that no such incident took place. Instead of providing proof for the ‘damage’ they claimed, my response was ignored and they filed a claim through my insurance company. I had damages that stated an amount of $1,459.79, additional charges in the American dollars included $385 as ‘loss of use,’ and a $150 for their claim which totaled to $1993.79. Denial from my insurance marked the claim’s demise as there were no pictures offered of the so-called damages.
Oh, but this wasn’t the end! I was bullied into paying for a bumper repair that cost $750, and oh how arrogantly they stated it was a lesson that I will hold dearly to myself. After opening up a little, it wasn’t hard to find abundant complaints against Rent- A – Wreck. Therefore, all of this leads up to the piece of caution I aim to deliver for them.
