Rent-A-Wreck – SeaTac Washington is a fraud and looted me of $750
I rented a car from Rent-A-Wreck in May of 2022 and returned it without any visible damage. After a few days, I received an email from them asking me to fill out an “incident report”. I informed them that no incident had occurred and they refused to produce any proof of the damage. They contacted my car insurance company to file the claim which amounted to $1459.79 in damages, $385 in “loss of use”, and a $150 administration fee. $1993.79 in total. Since they couldn’t provide a picture of the damage, my insurance company denied the claim.
But that didn’t stop them! They made me pay a final cost of $750 for the bumper repair which was a very expensive lesson to learn to not rent from this company, and I’m hoping to save someone else the same trouble. You will also find many other reviews on the internet about them with similar experiences.
