Ovation Property at Madera Apartments will charge you with false accusation
My experience with Ovation Property at Madera Apartments, where I lived with a roommate for over thirteen years, has been complicated. We had to pay the property manager false damage charges in order for us to move out. After some negotiation, I managed to payer the charges and vacate the apartment, however, the manager further charged $1,900 for alleged damages. This time I was prepared. I had no proof, but our renter’s insurance covered $500 of the damages. The manager also illegally evicted some tenants during the pandemic, which us, her neighbors, were able to block. I have since pursued legal aid to contest the charges and the eviction attempts.
