JEREMY MICHAEL DERKS is a CONT ARTIST

A mutual friend introduced us to Jeremy Michael Derks at a church in Las Vegas. He told us about an internet business that He claimed to run on Shopify, called “The Drop Shipping Company, LLC”. After discussing the details, we agreed to fund $30,000 for Jeremy to build and run two Shopify stores over a 2-year period. He told us that the stores would go live within 3-4 days after payment was made. On May 17, 2023, we sent the payment via wire transfer, which he confirmed receiving. However, our stores remained incomplete after the promised completion date along with Jeremy’s never ending excuses. Months went by accompanied by Jeremy’s inconsistent communication. Doubts spurring, we took to the internet to look up what Jeremy had done and came across a plethora of complaints, reports, and videos claiming that he was a well known scammer who had tricked victims out of large sums of money. He has not issued a refund despite multiple requests and only offered vague statements of prebuilt stores making 2000-5000 dollars a month, which led to no results. After more than a month of inactivity and silence, we have now consolidated with other victims to file federal charges against him.
