Haul Away Logistics Scammed us out of $2,000
We received a boat from Haul Away to transfer from Florida to Michigan for a total cost of $16,000 for this big shipment. Escort cars, permits, lodgings for escort car drivers, fuel, etc. had to be paid for. The shipment was delivered on schedule and undamaged. At the time of delivery, they were meant to send us this sum. After making us wait for payment for two days (which costs $500 per day, which they also failed to pay), they only gave us $14,000. They pledged to use an electronic cheque to pay the outstanding sum. Then they finally chose to curse us out and said they weren’t going to pay us anything, so we should just deal with it after giving us the runaround and repeatedly saying they were sending it. On Central Dispatch, a load board for truck drivers, these con artists hired us.
Why the Submitter Profile is Anonymous?
“Anonymous” means that the person who submitted the complaint wishes to remain unidentified. It is important to note that the anonymous status of a complaint does not indicate that the information provided is not truthful. The submitter may be whistleblowers or current or former employees who do not want to be identified to avoid any potential retaliation.
