Beware of Online Scammer Christopher James Galpin
This report is on Christopher James Galpin, who goes by the aliases “Jake” and “James”. One of his profiles on Bumble uses the name “Jake”, that’s why we included his photo. He is a scammer who deceived nearly 30 victims aged between 30 to 40 years old with a bogus contract for city utility services and stole $6,000 from each of them. He made people believe in the existence of a company that was supposed to provide cheap utility services, but it was all a hoax. He is also among my victims. Luckily, the police were able to catch him. He permanently operated the scam on his home computer, which police easily traced to his IP address.
He is presently in custody in Edmonton, but he keeps evading his scheduled court appearance. We will update the case as more information comes to light. This is the first part of his story, so kindly read the remaining part of this report and do not engage with him.
Chris Galpin has been known to engage is stalker like behavior online. He has have hundreds of victims, predominantly women and some men. When he is rejected or offended, he acts in an extremely obsessive and childish manner. Galpin is best known for his trademark “revenge” style which involves stealing pictures from someone’s Facebook and Instagram, posting them on disgusting sites and spreading false and slanderous rumors. His revenge does not stop there, he has been known to stalk people for years sending harassing texts with fake phone numbers. Galpin has Multiple Facebook accounts with which he tries to stalk people. His known Delequnacy is on record with the Edmonton Police. They know him for his past crimes and he is terrified of being arrested again as it would land him back into jail. Because of these reasons he has to disguise himself under fake emails and burner phones to avoid getting found.
