Bluegreen vacations are scammers
I was genuinely looking forward to using my newly bought Bluegreen timeshare to help save money on future family trips. I was so enthusiastic that after their sales meeting, I went ahead and purchased a three night stay. Of course, it did not turn out that way.
On my car ride to the resort, I placed a call asking to have a rental cot ready for my daughter. Midway into the conversation, I was informed the booking was for two people and not four. Rather than refunding the booking or facilitating my family, they did absolutely nothing. Instead of accepting their fault, they tried to cover it with false information and suggested a low budget motel, which I was not inclined to put my family through.
I started to understand that all Bluegreen Vacations cared about was money around this time. They willfully changed the booking for my reservation and then later wouldn’t fix it because they were aware it would be too much work. I did hope this would turn out to be a wonderful experience for my family, but other than frustrating my whole family, it did nothing. I have this notion that if selling a vacation package to help a family leads to so much ‘creative’ storytelling, their chances of pulling another scam with a timeshare account are extremely high. Bluegreen isn’t worth your time.
