Beware of Steven & Karen Caloca! Total Frauds
Beware of this dealer’s dishonest practise of offering a “certified inspection report” on their vehicles that are sold “as is”! The inspection report they provided said the $10,000 car I bought was in “A plus mechanical condition,” but it requires over $6000 in repairs—4 of which “passed” on the false report. Steve promised to handle the repairs, but he continued to put me off for a full month. When we last spoke on the phone, I vented my annoyance at his attempts to push out the repair by a week and stated my worry for my safety because it feels like the front end may crash when I drive it. I told him about my frustration that getting the car to him for the repair would take four hours, that I would be without a car for three days, and that the cost of all that time and petrol was unfairly landing on me. He yelled at me and withdrew his offer. I advised they simply buy the vehicle back and complete the repairs on their own schedule since the window on their shop advertises that they buy vehicles. They “don’t have to do anything,” he remarked. I’m now taking legal action for fraud, therefore I’ll keep updating this review!
