Aven.com is not a real credit card company
Aven.com credit card claims have proven to be untrustworthy and I would highly suggest keeping your distance from Aven.
Somewhere around NYC, I seem to have misplaced my credit card and it was used to purchase items for the value of $5000. My spouse and I reported the fraud and blocked the card as quickly as possible. After two months, Aven claimed to have investigated and obtained a police report, only to accuse my spouse and I of lying and forcing us to pay the entire amount of $$$5000.
To alleviate some of my frustration, I destroyed my entire day in the First Precinct at Battery Park filing the police report. To my disdain, Aven claimed they would not accept the report. So here I am, without my funds and having to face the consequences of waiting too long.
Their customer care representatives have to be the worst, with the only option of speaking to a “Mitch” who barely manages to understand English. Appointing other days to even attempt to converse with her is astounding. After everything we've been put through, I can without a doubt say that this company is the worst I have had to deal with. We intend on filing a fraud case against them and look forward to the hearing.
