Austin Zelan Bigger scammer than Madeoff, Anna Delvey or Tinder Swindler
Massive scammer. In essence he runs a Ponzi scheme—but worse with little to no payout to original investor—that funds his lifestyle which lures in more investors. But the degree with which he does this is truly unprecendented, extremely premeditated, and somewhat carefully executed. That is if you don’t consider the fact that he runs every single bit of funds through a religious trust to avoid taxes on his “income” which is really just money stolen from clients. IRS surely will see that as fraud whether it is a loophole or not. And furthermore, the FCA (financial conduct authority) states it’s illegal to share profits without a license. Which he doesn’t hold. One of his well used tactics is to form companies and “partnerships” (which are make believe partnerships of which he is secretly the other partner) with names that mimic real life companies (for instance; Alchemy Markets was one he successfully duped many with. The real alchemy markets having no idea who he is nor any association with the email “alchemy” was emailing his clients from. I could go on and on, but instead I’ll copy this Reddit response below:
Known him for awhile and watched his IG following grow from absolutely nothing to millions. How did it grow you ask? He paid for followers (and comments and likes) with the money from investors who trusted him in his scheme of running his forex software on FTMO. Pretty smart way to start your scam empire.
Dude guaranteed peoples money ($10k) verbally and then when push came to shove and the investment didn’t work out (because it was a scam) he would turn narcissistic and not give people back their money. The contract in hindsight without his word backing it seemed now gray as can be. Somehow he will end up deleting this comment because he sweeps the internet of any bad reviews. Also if you have a bad experience with him he will block you from viewing his stories and tell you he doesn’t do XYZ investment anymore, then blocks you from seeing him still promoting it. If you become even more enraged because you notice that, you’re blocked completely, he continues to move on to the next victim.
The articles written “about him” are paid for and have been highly embellished by himself. Same with his IMBd profile, any YouTube podcasts he does. Why don’t you ask Microsoft yourself if they have any record of him working for them? Ha! The award stages he has been on, paid for, fake. The Ted talk, paid for, actually you should listen to his Ted talk—it’s f***ing hilarious!!
In his other proposed investments he would give himself a 50% commission but also the investment doesn’t exist or is shit. For instance the oil investment. He will sell you a share worth 10% of what the rig produces and charge you what it would cost for you to buy 3 shares on your own. So he just bought two extra shares for himself while giving you one. And all he did was introduce you to the guy with the rig. Who is also questionable.
He is very calculated and honestly it’s super impressive. But not in a good way obviously.
I could go on and on for days about my experience and the experience of others. I know folks who have lost $80k+. If you give money to him you can surely kiss it goodbye. Trust me when I say this guy puts Anna Delvey and the Tinder Swindler to shame.
Oh I forgot to add; you should ask him why he changed his name from Marchel Zagrebelny to Austin Zelan. He will flip out and block you. Pretty fishy to get irate over a conversation starter such as that. That is, unless he has had time now to think up a cool story about it.
And P.p.s., the way he runs his investment opportunities is illegal anyway, which should be enough of a red flag. Without a license you cannot share profit on people’s investments. This is how he runs his forex investment, as well as some others. (Although recently I’ve seen him say he charges monthly subscription so maybe he has become more wise on this).
I’m hoping it all catches up to him obviously. He has hurt a lot of people. And used God’s name in the process. Although now, he probably has enough momentum and money that he could actually start a legit business and turn his life around and quit scamming good hearted people—that would be a shame, he deserves to eat chopped carrots in peas in prison for all the A5 Waygu we’ve bought him. I have a feeling his lack of empathy will keep him going on this same trajectory until he goes to prison or flees to Russia.
Why the Submitter Profile is Anonymous?
“Anonymous” means that the person who submitted the complaint wishes to remain unidentified. It is important to note that the anonymous status of a complaint does not indicate that the information provided is not truthful. The submitter may be whistleblowers or current or former employees who do not want to be identified to avoid any potential retaliation.
Yes he is absolutely a scammer! Somehow able to delete anyone talking against him too
